Who am I?

I am a skilled Instructional Designer and a MBA professional with a background in healthcare. My experience lies within needs analysis as well as designing, developing, and the implementation of processes. I enjoy getting to be creative and provide visually appealing, learner focused material to benefit overall organizational goals and culture. I believe that everyone in an organization, no matter their level, should feel valued, empowered, and have the tools they need to be able to effectively do their jobs. This mentality has been the driving force behind my career transition to instructional design.

What is my process?

When I am designing a learning product, I begin by focusing on the learner and the target audience and focus in on their needs. I generally follow the ADDIE model and believe that communication is key. I enjoy working with subject matter experts (SME's) and stakeholders to ensure that we are all on the same page for the desired outcomes as well as for deciding on the best modality for the client's needs. Whether I am designing an eLearning module or a microlearning course/job aid I will provide the necessary design documents to best communicate the vision and focus. 

What tools do I use?

Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise 360, Zoom, Microsoft Office, Canva, Vyond, WellSaid Labs, and more...I am happy and open to use and learn additional tools as well!
